Today marked a milestone in the IHCRC fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Our CEO, Carmelita Skeeter, was first in line to receive the vaccine.
Throughout the day, several of our frontline staff, including doctors, nurses, medical assistance and receptionists were vaccinated. We received 40 doses of the vaccine yesterday.
As per guidance, the first doses are being utilized to keep our staff safe so they can continue to care for your health. Vaccinations for the general public are not expected until Spring 2021.
