When areas schools were out, our annual Spring Break Camp was in session March 18-21!
Fifteen American Indian youth, ages 6-11, connected with their culture through four days of fun-filled and educational activities:
- Crafting glass rings and feathers at Agitsi Stained Glass, connecting creativity with Native artistry
- Learning about the importance of cooking and gardening at Burning Cedar Sovereign Wellness
- Exploring aquatic life and nature at Oklahoma Aquarium
- Participating in team building skills through numerous activities including a rope swing and zipline at Camp Loughridge
A huge thank you to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma for its support of our Youth Program, and for making this camp possible. You can see more of our photos on our social media post!
