October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, a time to remember the importance of showing sensitivity and support for survivors. Leading up to this special awareness month, Indian Health Care Resource Center of Tulsa will host a come-and-go butterfly release event from 1-4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19.
IHCRC invites survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, child maltreatment, and human trafficking to release a Painted Lady butterfly as a representation of hope and transformation. Participants are welcome to bring their family or support system to this free, public event.
Reservations are not required, and more information is available at our event page.
Directions:
Please enter through IHCRC 530's (north building) entrance and look for event signage. Parking is available at both IHCRC 530 and IHCRC 550.
