Join us for Coffee Hour and a Half and more!

08/11/2023

Osiyo,

I'd like to take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Pamela Wiernasz and I am the Gerontology RN Educator at Indian Health Care Resource Center of Tulsa (IHCRC). I'm sending you this message because I want to personally invite you to some of our upcoming events and activities.

Coffee Hour and a Half is held the last Wednesday of the month. We use this time to drink coffee, share stories, play games, as well as provide various useful giveaways to our attendees. This month we will be starting a punch card for Coffee Hour and a Half, with a drawing for a prize valued at $130 for those that attend six meetings!

To ensure the needs of our elders are being met we are in the process of forming an Elder Council. The council will meet monthly after Coffee Hour and a Half to help steer the direction of our Gerontology Program. If you are interested in being part of the Elder Council, please reach out to me at my number below.

Plus, don’t forget to also talk with your PCP about baseline memory testing. Baseline memory testing provides a comprehensive assessment of memory capabilities. It establishes a reference point for current memory function that can be compared to later testing if memory problems become present.

If transportation is an issue for you, please let me know. We have resources available to make sure that you can participate in any of our activities.

I may be reached at 918-588-1900 ext. 4242. You may also check out our Facebook page or website for more information and updates on events.

Respectfully,

Pamela Wiernasz, BSN-RN
